RHET has delivered education in food, farming and the countryside for 20 years. We work with aged 3-18 through classroom speakers, farm visits and events, all supported by local volunteers. RHET Clyde covers Glasgow and Lanarkshire councils and is run by volunteers with a paid part time Project Co-ordinator.

Community organisation based in Pollokshaws developing activities and service provision within the G43 and surrounding postcodes. We have a range of regular activities including a community garden incorporating food cultivation. We are looking to further develop this aspect of our organisation to meet the needs of local residents, potentially to include harvest season activities; community meals; nutrition, growing, and cooking education; and partnership with the local foodbank at Auldhouse Community Church.

CHEX (Community Health Exchange)
CHEX is a national intermediary organisation who supports and promotes community development approaches to health improvement. We provide support to a network of community-led health initiatives and their public sector partners who are tackling health inequalities in communities across Scotland. CHEX works at two levels:: Strategically we support community-led health initiatives to engage with policy makers. We are also involved in a range of national working groups as appropriate. Operationally we help link community-led health initiatives, voluntary organisations and public sector agencies together. Supporting effective community development practice to a wide range of health improvement interventions. CHEX began in 1999 and is funded by NHS Health Scotland as part of the Scottish Community Development Centre.
