Idea in a Nutshell
Sharpen Her's community of African women has not been involved much in climate change conversations. There is little awareness of climate change issues and how our day to day life can contribute to climate change. We will therefore initiate a project where we will encourage the conversation and action around climate change.
We will raise awareness and bring to African communities' consciousness the impact of climate change.
We have a base in the Kinning Park area and we hope to access allotments in the Bellahouston Park area and surrounding.
Experience
The goal of our organization is simple: nurture and enhance the community where we live. Our team is dedicated to creating change in many different parts of the surrounding community in the hopes that we can improve lives, one person at a time. Once those lives are changed, they can go on to impact their communities and the wider society.
