This workshop is the 4th in a series delivered in partnership with Glasgow Eco Trust, the Food & Climate Action project's west host.

This workshop will focus on harvesting produce & seeds to use next growing seasons. The session will be hands on & practical. You do not have to have had attended previous sessions to enjoy this one - they have been designed to function as standalone sessions, as well as build on knowledge built from previous ones.

The series is facilitated by GCFN's Jenny MacGillivray. Jenny has expertise & interest in urban and rural development, sustainable food systems, urban agriculture, education and awareness raising, composting, and food growing.

Yoker allotment & access info:

This plot is looked after by Glasgow Eco Trust as site for food & growing education. As it is a traditional allotment site, all of the usual hazards associated with this will be present. The plot is accessed by a paved path. There is a compost loo available, which is up quite a high step, & unfortunately is not wheelchair / mobility aid accessible. Outdoor seating available. Please dress for the weather. Hot & cold drinks and light refreshments such as fruit, nuts & biscuits will be available throughout the session. The session will be quite informal & peer learning will be encouraged. Other members of the publiuc & allotment holder might be present.
