Ruchill Golf Course inspiration - trips and workshops - Nature surveys #2

(15 spaces available)
Learn about wildlife on the golf course!
The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) are running a 2 part workshop, so that Ruchill residents can become Citizen Scientists! Learn how to identify different species of plants and animals, understand why wildlife recording is so important for the local community and take away the skills and confidence to do your own surveys at the Golf Course.
Meeting at the Pavilion, followed by a gentle stroll around the golf course. Please dress for the weather.
Children 10 years old and over are welcome to attend, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Hot refreshments provided.
Glasgow Community Food Network are working with local residents and community organisations to come up with ideas for the future of Ruchill Golf Course. We’re inviting residents to get involved in wildlife surveying and gather inspiration from other places, so we can come up with proposals to enhance the golf course as a nature-friendly green space for local people.
Open to all, but in the case of over-subscription, priority will be given to those who live in and close to Ruchill.
